Latest GTA Online Update Pushes Players Onto Bikes Of All Sizes

The leaves are changing, temperatures are cooling down, and in Los Santos, it’s time for players to hop on their bikes in GTA Online. Whether it’s a BMX bike ride through the city or high-speed sport bike races, four-wheel vehicle averse players can earn some more cash this week by taking part in a suite of activities. Sadly, this week’s focus on bikes also means players won’t be getting a new car to pick up either.

This week’s GTA Online update was shared via the Rockstar Newswire, which we’ve detailed down below.

Cruise around or break the speed limit

Bikers of all stripes will have plenty of opportunities to earn some extra cash this week. Casual bikers can participate in the Hasta La Vista Adversary mode, where a truck tries to trample down city cyclists, for three times the cash and XP. On the other end of the spectrum, all bike races are paying out twice the cash and XP, regardless of how players place.

For those that see a bike as less of a transport vehicle and more of a lifestyle, Motorcycle Club owners can also pick up some extra dough with their illegal sales. Completing forged document, counterfeit cas…

World of Tanks- Xbox 360 Edition Review

Burly and menacing, tanks are an enticing tool for turning the tide in any pitched military conflict. There’s also an undeniable coolness to them. Why drive around trees, walls, and foes when you can crash straight through them unscathed, right? Raw power and heavy guns are the primal ingredients that drive World of Tanks, an online multiplayer shooter that reimagines what mid-20th-century warfare might be like if it were fought solely with rolling metal doom machines. But even if you’re titillated by the brute force of hammering explosive shells into your adversaries until they erupt in flame, it’s the thoughtful emphasis on strategy and the unpredictability of every encounter that keep matches interesting over the long haul.

World of Tanks’ 15-on-15 matches get off to a zippy start, spurring your battalion to spread out quickly across the map to destroy all of your opponents or capture their base before they nab yours. A diverse range of terrain layouts in each battlefield create natural choke points that speed you along toward the opening volleys of cannon fire, and once things get crazy, it’s rare that a match bumps up against the 15-minute time limit before one side i…

Sonic Heroes Could Be Getting A Remake For Nintendo Switch Successor – Report

A remake of Sonic Heroes is reportedly being considered at Sega. The game was first released in 2003 for PC, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, and original Xbox.

According to Universo Nintendo, the Sonic Heroes remake would be built with Unreal Engine, and be put on all modern platforms, including PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch’s successor. Sega would reportedly also aim for a 2025 release window.

Prominent Atlus and Sega leaker named Midori originally corroborated Universo Nintendo’s report. However, they later clarified that Sega was only considering the possibility of a remake. They also added that they were unsure about the possibility of this remake being released within the next three years.

Throughout Sonic the Hedgehog’s long history, Sonic Heroes is one of the very few games in the series that has not been remastered or brought to any other modern platforms–it’s not even available on Steam.

In GameSpot’s Sonic Heroes review, we said, “Sonic Heroes is the closest that Sonic Team has gotten to doing a 3D Sonic the Hedgehog game in the classic 2D fashion. What’s most disappointing is that the problems in Sonic Heroes–which include t…

Sony's Next-Gen 8K VR Hardware Could Help Reduce Motion Sickness Significantly

Sony held an online event called Sony Technology Day this week, in which the company revealed some of its new cutting-edge technology that is in development. One of the presentations showed off a prototype for a new virtual reality headset, which uses two small 4K displays to create an 8K viewing experience. It’s still in the very early stages of development, but Sony’s goal is for the VR headset to create more life-like and detailed images using a low-latency head-mounted display and OLED microdisplays.

“This is a virtual reality head-mounted display that projects a high-definition 3D space and achieves a high-resolution of 4K with one eye and 8K with both eyes,” Sony explained in a highlight video. “High image quality is achieved through multi-pixel and miniaturization using fine processing and advanced packaging technology cultivated through the development and manufacture of CMOS image sensors, and Organic Light Emitting Diode microdisplay using device and circuit technology cultivated through the development of displays. The processing time is reduced by decreasing the amount of latency throughout the entire system thanks to the integration of data from multiple senso…

Sons Of Anarchy Star Says He Almost Played Anakin In Star Wars But The "Vibes" Were Off

Actor Charlie Hunnam was reportedly close to getting the role of Anakin in 2002’s Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones. He told Entertainment Tonight that he got far enough into the audition process to have a meeting with Star Wars creator George Lucas himself. However, Hunnam said he bungled his audition, not to mention that he felt the “vibes” were off.

“I got to the point where I was meeting George Lucas. I don’t think he meets a lot of actors,” Hunnam said (via StarWarsNewsNet). “I think there was probably maybe two, three actors they were considering. I don’t remember much about it. I remember that I was nervous, and I was a little bit awkward and I remember walking out and thinking, ‘Well, I’m definitely not getting that role.’ And I was correct. Sometimes it’s about the vibes.”

2001’s Episode 1: The Phantom Menace feature Jake Lloyd in the role of a young Anakin. Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith featured an older Anakin, a role that ultimately went to Hayden Christensen. Leonardo DiCaprio turned it down, while Paul Walker was passed over.

Spoilers Don't Ruin Marvel Movies, Says Kevin Feige

Deadpool and Wolverine is coming out in theaters this week, and it’s been difficult to avoid spoilers since the first screening reactions went online. It doesn’t help that Marvel itself spoiled the return of a major supporting character in the final trailer for the film. However, that reveal may have been made in part because Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige doesn’t believe that spoilers ruin the experience of seeing a MCU film.

“[It’s] very hard [to keep secrets] and almost impossible nowadays,” explained Feige during an interview with Coming Soon. “And I think I realized a long time ago that it’s great to keep secrets. And the only reason we want to keep secrets is to maintain surprises. So that an audience, that theater full of people, can discover things for the first time and have that adrenaline rush of a surprise for the first time.”

Feige went on to contend that any preconceived notions about spoilers slide away once the audience is in the theater and watching the film alongside a like-minded crowd.

“If the movie works, and if those moments work, they will,” said Feige. “It’s probably always better if it’s a surprise. but they’ll work 99% as well if they’re…
